BEFORE YOU MARRY

*Marry  your  friend- Don't leave a friend and go marry a stranger; the stranger may not understand you like your friend. Never marry someone you do not know.
*Be  positive  before  going  into  marriage- Determine that you are stepping into it for good, determine that your marriage is going to work before going into it, have a positive mindset. Your mentality before marriage will determine your reality when you go into marriage so have a positive mentality.
*Be  ready  to  submit  to  your  husband  as  a  lady  and  be  ready  to  love  your  wife  as  a  man- There is no need going into marriage if you are not ready to love your wife or submit to your husband, Love and submission is God's master key to a successful home, not being ready to love or submit is preparing to fail in marriage. Eph5:22-25. Be careful and considerate before going into marriage.

UNDERSTANDING  PRIORITIES.

The  greatest  secret  for  living  effectively  on  this  earth  is  by  understanding  the  principles  and  powers  of  priorities.

The  greatest  tragedy  in life  is  not  death  but  a  life  with  no  priorities  or  wrong  priorities.

The  greatest  mistake  in  life  is  to  be  busy  but  not  effective.

The  greatest  failure  in  life  is  to  be  successful  in  the  wrong  assignment.

Students  don’t  fail  because  they  are  not  intelligent  but  because  they  lack  the  understanding  and  the  power  of  priorities.

What  is  Priorities?

1.     It  is  simply  the  principal  thing.

2.     It  is  putting  first  thing  first.

3.     It  is  establishing  the  most  important  thing.

4.     Primary  focus

5.     It  is  placing  in  order  of  importance.

6.     It  is  placing  highest  value  or  worth  upon  a  particular  pursuit.

7.     Something  important  that  must  be  done  first  or  need  more  attention  than  anything  else.

   HOW  DOES  CORRECT  PRIORITY  HELP  YOU?

1.     It  protects  your  time  and  energy. Time  and  energy  is  the  most  essential  commodity  on  earth  but  correct  priority  helps  you  protect  it

2.     It  protects  your  decision.

3.     It  helps  you  to  be  disciplined.  You  hardly  waste  time  and  resources  when  your  priorities  are  right

4.     It  grants  you  progress.  People  who  have  priorities  and  are  committed  to  them  hardly  remain  on  a  spot.

Abraham  Mashlaw,  a  human  scientist,  psychologist  and  socialist  took  a  study  on  the  motivation  of  human  behaviours,  that  is,  people’s  priority  in  life  or  order  of  human  wants  in  life.  He  came  out  with  ten  of  human  priority  in  life and  they  are:

1.     Water 2. Food 3.Clothings  4. Housing 5.Protection 6. Security 7. Preservation  8.Self actualization 9.Self worth 10. God

According  to  him,  this  is  man’s  priority  but  the  truth is,  according  to  God’s  standard  man’s  priority  is  the  exact  opposite  of  God’s  priority. In  mattew6:25-33,  God  told  us  to  forget  about  food, water  and  clothing  eliminating  the  top  three  of  Abraham  Marshlaw  list  and  he  told  us  to  seek  his  kingdom  and  its  righteousness  first  and  every  other  thing  will  follow,  that  means  you  must  make  God  and  his  kingdom  your  first  priority  in  life  if  you  must  excel  in  the  journey  of  life.

MAKING PROGRESS IN LIFE

Salvation repositions your life for a life of unending progress and that is why the bible says "The path of the just is as a shinning light that shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day"Pro4:18 so your life has being wired for progress by the reason of redemption, stagnation has lost its grip over your life and destiny, you are to move from one realm to another, one level of breakthrough to another, remaining on one spot is a slap on redemption and that is why God got provoked when the Israelites remained on the same spot "And the Lord spake unto me saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward"Deut2:2,3. God is not happy when your life is not advancing or when you are on one spot, he expects you to keep scaling heights and breaking new grounds. why then is many believers stagnated? why is many believers not breaking grounds and scaling new heights? there is something lacking in the lives of some people that has kept them on one spot, it takes obedience to God and his word to make progress in life and all areas of your life and here what the word of God "But this thing commanded i them, saying, Obey my voice, and i will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that i have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in imagination of their evil heart, and WENT BACKWARD AND NOT FORWARD"Jeremiah7:23,24. Obedience to God and his word is the greatest secret to a life of unending progress. The word of God is what launches from one realm to another and obedience to the demands of the word moves you from where you are to where you ought to be. 2Corinthians3:18. if you want to make progress in life then obey the demands of the word f God in the area of life you require progress.

LEADERS AND POLITICIANS

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POLITICIANS AND LEADERS The reason why many nations are suffering so much degradation is because they don't have leaders but politicians, what is the difference between politicians and leaders? 1. Politicians think of the next election but leaders think of the next generation. 2. Politicians are after power but leaders are after empowering others 3. Politicians have passion for valuables but leaders have passion for adding values 4. Politicians are after position but leaders are after disposition 5. Politicians live for themselves and their pockets but leaders live for the people 6. Politicians are after the protection of their seats but leaders are after the protection of the people 7. Politicians are selfish but leaders are selfless 8. Politicians are controlled by possessions but leaders are controlled by conviction.

The man called money

THE MAN CALLED MONEY “Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven”Pro23:4,5 He is a speed machine, no one has ever caught-up with him! Why? He has wings, and off in the sky he goes and men are busy running helter-skelter on the earth to catch-up with him. He soars like an eagle, and men are sweating and swotting on the earth. Watch him! He is a speed machine, an engine that goes in the air. No man chases him on the earth and catches him Oh the speed of money! With wings it flies, While those who chase it remain on the ground Money is a speed machine. Its chasers are mourners None has ever been satisfied with it, money has speed. Those who chase it don’t catch it. But thank God! When you catch God, you have caught good, If you run after gold you will miss God but if you run after God you will discover gold. Get acquainted with God and very soon you will lay up gold as dust.Job22:21-24

Catch a dream

BE A DREAMER What is a dream? A dream is a mental picture of a desired end. Dreams are destiny boosters, how? By establishing goals in the life of the dreamer. Can you imagine a football match without goal posts? The players will just keep playing, sweating without results and that is a practical picture of how many destinies are today, they keep running and labouring with little or no results to show for their labour. Why? No set goals that is, NO DREAMS. To be without a dream is to be doomed. Dreams set mental goals and when you have a mind to work it works. In other words, Dreams shows a mental picture of your future and therefore energizing your mind to get it done. Gen11:1-6, Dreams empowers you for success and impact, a dreamer can never be stopped, when you become a dreamer you become unstoppable. Your dream is a major instrument for God to take you to where he has ordained for you. Friends, your mental picture determines your actual future. Hear what God told Abraham “And the Lord said unto Abram, after Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it and to thy seed forever” Gen13:14,15. God will never give or take you farther than you dream, the farther you dream the farther you go, your imagination determines your destination. That is to say that your future is in your hands. We live in a dreamers world and only dreamers count. There are too many frustrated believers in the body of Christ today because there are too many dreamless Christians. If Joseph dream could make him then be rest assured that your dream will make you. People may mock and laugh you to scorn because of your dream but friend believe in your dream and pursue it with all you’ve got. Joseph told his family about his dream and they hated and envied him but he held on to it, despite all the hatred and envy his dream came to pass because a dreamer can never be stopped, the challenges and oppositions notwithstanding.Gen11:6, Nehemiah had a dream to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, people mocked, conspired and looked down on him but friends, in 52 days his dream came to full reality.Nehemiah4:1-8, Forget the mockery, hatred and oppositions and focus on pursuing your dream. When a Christian has a dream and believes in his dream he has established a dominion for himself. THE DREAM THAT WILL BE FUFILLED The dream that will be fulfilled is the dream that is in favour of God and his kingdom. The reason why God hindered the dream of those men in Gen11 was because their dream was not in the favour God and his kingdom. If your dream must see the light of day then it must contain God, people and God’s kingdom. Any dream that does not contain God and people is a dead dream. The question now is what’s the content of your dream? What’s the motive behind your dream? Is it for your selfish interest? Or for the promotion of God, his kingdom and to reach out to people? If your dream contains God and people then be rest assured that it will come to pass and if it is for your selfish interest then it will end in futility, check your dream It is a dreamer’s world and the dreamers take all.
